What you see above is the screen of an 18i20 (perhaps fourth generation...). Image taken from this video (Focusrite Help YouTube channel). What I notice is the nice round knob in the top right, a knob that I, in my Focusrite Control 2, do not have. I always see, in the top left, the option to split the Main Out 1-2 channels, an option that I, in my 18i8 (third generation) do not have. I also see an Edit function, a function that I, in my Focusrite Control 2, do not have... In short, I am missing several functions... In my Focusrite Control 2, the function to not select some sources is missing, namely the hyphen (-).
Perhaps Focusrite tends to make too many distinctions between one card model and another...
