It's been about two years that I've been using automatic generative algorithms to restore some images for the People Restyling Blog. Only a few results turn out barely acceptable.... What I notice is the low quality returned that must always be corrected with numerous steps and with considerable effort... Hours and hours spent even just to improve a detail... It’s true that you can’t expect too much when using free versions, but we could certainly have a tad more quality than what we currently have (which has remained unchanged for two years)... These Automatic Generative Algorithms tend to still get several details wrong such as toenails, teeth, fingernails, or the shape of the eyes that often still leaves something to be desired... I’ve noticed that Grok can’t even create a photorealistic image of a woman’s feet clad in sheer (or low-denier) hold-up stockings or generic nylon stockings... Lately it seems to me that several platforms have lowered the graphic quality (compared to a few months ago...) probably lowering the DPI (and also the size). Honestly, with 1024x1024 and DPI that don't even reach 96 I can do very little... The current standard should be at least 2000x2000 pixels and 200 DPI... The problem of adult content limits the possibility of expressing oneself artistically... Even just one woman in a swimsuit (or in a slightly sexy pose) is already considered something to be banned for platforms like Meta AI - Gemini - Grok - Copilot - Qwen... Yet, in summer, when we are by the sea, many women walk around with very few clothes... they have thongs and thongs, Brazilian costumes... Some walk and/or walk even topless... Excessive bigotry is also harmful to health...
